Serving as Southern California's largest food bank distribution center, Western Eagle Foundation provides unparalleled expertise in collecting and distributing food and clothing to over 60 Southern California cities. Through a network of more than 500 donors, Western Eagle collects dried and canned foods, as well as fresh produce and dairy products. By partnering with more than 100 local non-profit organizations these products are distributed directly to people in need free of charge. Charitable organizations wanting to join the fight against hunger are welcome to contact Western Eagle to learn more about how to become a distribution partner.
For $25, you can get a supply of food that will feed a family of four, 2 meals a day each, for an entire week. Each food box contains the following:
Breakfast: Cereal and Complete Pancake Mix
Dinners: Pasta with Sauce, Rice and Beans, Hamburger and Tuna Helper, Mashed Potatoes, Canned Foods (baked beans, vegetables and more), Seasonal Fresh Produce.
Also included are additionally donated items such as milk, cheese, yogurt (as well as a wide range of other dairy products) soda, snacks, bread items and more. Additional meats and dairy products are available at an additional, reduced cost.
