Mend Poverty Emergency Food Bank

Food Box Distribution

Tuesday: (Homeless Care Program) 9:00 am 11:00 am

Thursday: 8:00 am 2:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am 2:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am Noon

MEND Cafe offers breakfast and lunch during service days. $3 donation suggested. Check with information desk for details.  (Please bring your own shopping bags.)


MEND offers food, clothing, medical, eye care and dental care for those in need. If you need help and meet the eligibility requirements below, come to the MEND Center reception area during operating hours for an intake interview.
General Eligibility

Services are available to individuals and families who reside within MENDs area of service and meet income guidelines. When registering for services, please bring a photo ID, proof of address and income.
Health Clinic Eligibility

In addition to the general eligibility requirements, clients must be uninsured. All clinics require a list of current medications, and a letter of Medi-Cal / Medicare or Denti-Cal Status at registration. New patients are accepted based on clinic capacity. Services are by appointment only; however, emergency appointments may be available on a limited basis.

The Food Bank & Clothing programs also serve:

    Panorama City
    Sun Valley

Each program requests donations to help keep them open; however, no one will be turned away for inability to donate.
