Prince William Spends Night On The Streets

London England - Prince William decided to spend a night on the streets to highlight the difficulty of being homeless for a British teenager. William has worked with the homeless since 2005.

"I cannot, after one night, even begin to imagine what it must be like to sleep rough on London's streets night after night," William said Tuesday. "Poverty, mental illness, drug and alcohol dependancy and family breakdown cause people to become and then stay homeless.

"I hope that by deepening my understanding of the issue, I can help do my bit to help the most vulnerable on our streets."

The night for William was purportedly bitterly cold. The temperature dropped to around 39 degrees Faherenheight.

It is great to see someone such as William spend a night on the street. It seems like politicians and other perons of note in the state do not promote homelessness.
