Haven For Hope San Antonio

Haven For Hope in San Antonio Texas just opened up and this could be a blue print for homeless resources that we have never seen before.

It is set on a beautiful 37 acre campus and will be addressing the root causes of homelessness through counseling, education, and medical attention.

This is a 100 million dollar campus that is all non profit. The dormitories will house up to 1,500 men, women, and children.

The classes will help train the homeless in careers so they can sustain themselves. Other resources at the complex include a medical and dental center, transformational center, women's residential dormitory, garden area, chapel, detox center, men's residential dormitories, security center, and pet kennel (this is great! Homeless oftentimes have pets and they have no where to house them and choose not to go to shelters due to this fact).

This is a great story and the homeless in Bexar County will be helped immensely with this new resource.
