The Salvation Army Food Pantry - Terre Haute

The Salvation Army Food Pantry
We serve families through our food pantry Tuesday-Friday. Our emergency food boxes are designed to provide food for 5-7 days. Families must register for assistance prior to receiving food. We welcome volunteers and donations for our food pantry.

Food Pantry Network Call Center
The purpose of the Food Pantry Network Call Center is to connect families to food. If you are in need of food, please call the Food Pantry Network Call Center Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm. We will do our best to connect you to same day food assistance.

Eligibility Guidelines

    Photo Identification for All Adults Living in the Household
    Proof of Vigo County Address for All Adults Living in the Household
    Proof of Income for All Adults Living in the Household (Must be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level)
    Social Security Cards for All Household Members
    Birth Date Verification for All Children Under 17
    For ongoing assistance, families will be asked to apply for or show proof of SNAP benefits.
    *Please call if you have difficulty providing any of the above information. Exceptions can typically be made if it is your first visit*


* Make sure you check by calling the food pantry to confirm that they still are in operation and the hours have not changed.
