Vegetarian Soup Kitchen & Food Pantry

The Mena Vegetarian Soup Kitchen serves any one who would like to come and share a great tasting meal with friends, those in need of a hot meal, a warm safe place to relax and share time in a great atmosphere. There is no charge to eat in our dining room or take-out meals if you are unable to eat in the dining room, or have family or friends unable to attend and need a good meal also.

The menu varies weekly. Some of the favorites: spaghetti & Garlic bread, Pizza, Pasta dishes, baked potatoes with chili, always served with a variety of fresh salads, healthy vegetables and deserts. There is always a great tasting soup that will warm your tummy and heart. A box is available and welcomes ideas and suggestions or special requests for extra help or prayer.

The meals are free: a gift from our local food bank, donations from individuals and businesses desiring to helping those in need of a good meal in a safe warm environment. All helpers are volunteers from a variety of groups, churches and organizations eager to help those in need.

So come and see for yourself, then bring a friend and or family and then make it part of your weekly Tuesday routine.

The volunteers have also tried to make special events such as Birthday's, and Anniversaries a bright spot in their day.
