Our desire is to provide you with the assistance you need to reach your goal of becoming self-sufficient and secure permanent housing. Our shelter houses individuals from different walks of life, with different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, diverse values, and different beliefs. We respect the individuality of everyone who lives and works in our shelter. Although the Frederic Ozanam Transitional Shelter provides a supportive Christian environment, it places no religious requirement on any resident or volunteer, nor does it discriminate against anyone because of race, creed, ethnicity, or religion.

Our mission is to provide emergency transitional housing for homeless families. Our primary focus is to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency by reducing their dependence on public assistance, improving their living skills, and securing permanent housing.

Our immediate aim is to help families meet their basic needs by providing a temporary transitional home environment. We further aim to assist with transportation, food, job skill training, clothing, and appropriate resources so that families may return to self-sufficient and productive lives.
